Procurement and normal Administration duties for a company based in Cape Town Harbour.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Procurement Administrator (Cape Town Harbour)

Permanent position

Salary bracket: R 19,000 Total CTC (included 9% Provident Fund as part of CTC)

Minimum 3 years in a Procurement Administration position

This position will suit an office person strong in procurement and some creditors experience.

The person must be able to work under extreme pressure as both vessels are sometimes in port and then the deadlines are very tight to get the vessels back on sea again.

Fishing Industry experience will be very beneficial.

Own transport will be in the candidate’s favour as the working hours sometimes extend beyond a normal work day.

The duties that the person will be fulfilling will be as per the below:

Generate vessel order in Excel format and email to vessels
Vessel completes order requisition and emails back
Completed order uploaded into Libra
Obtaining comparative quotes from various suppliers
Generate Purchase Order on system
Place order for delivery
Receive Delivery Notes and Invoices and collate for creditors processing and payment
Close purchase order
Office Admin Functions
Creditors Functions
Telephone Switchboard Functions
Filing
