My client is a leader within the global transport and logistics sector and is looking for a Process Specialist, Accounts Payable that can add value to their finance team.

As a Process Specialist, Accounts Payable you will responsible for the following:

Request statements from vendors in accordance with their payment terms
Prepare accurate recons on time for all accounts,
Ensure payments are made on time and in accordance with policies and procedures
Ensure Debit Items are resolved within current month
Drive cost efficiency (i.e reduce unit pricing)
Send Proof of payment to suppliers
Ensure expenses are recorded in the correct accounting periods and the preparation of accruals for month end closing
Accurate and on time Month end Reporting
Ensure that there are no aged items on either vendor statements or the sub-ledger
Processing of Invoices on the system
Accurate and on time Month end Reporting
Processing of Invoices on the system
Review and ensure all Intercompany Receivables are collected as per the Intercompany Rules
Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by immediate supervisor or management

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Matric
Completed Financial Qualification
3 – 4 years experience
Experience in SAP and Cargo Wise1 ans Webcost is non negotiable
Freight and Logistic industry is preferred
Excellent attention to detail
