Role Overview

The Private Wealth Manager Assistant plays a key role in supporting Carrick Wealth's growth by engaging prospective clients, generating qualified appointments, and providing administrative support to the advisory team. This is a fast-paced, target-driven position suited to an energetic, confident, and highly organised individual with excellent communication skills.

Working closely with the Regional Manager and Wealth Consultants, the successful candidate will proactively contact leads, qualify opportunities, manage diaries, and ensure all client administration is completed accurately and in line with compliance requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within the financial services industry while developing strong business development and client relationship skills.

POSITION INFO:
Private Wealth Manager assistant - Cape Town

Duties & Responsibilities

Prospect and engage potential clients through outbound calls.
Qualify leads and schedule appointments for Wealth Consultants.
Maintain accurate client records and complete all required administrative documentation.
Support consultants with diary management and client communication.
Develop a thorough understanding of Carrick Wealth's services and value proposition.
Achieve agreed activity and appointment-setting targets.
Liaise with clients regarding appointments, documentation, and follow-up requirements.
Attend team meetings, training sessions, and service provider engagements.

Professional Attributes

Strong communication skills and a confident telephone etiquette
Well-spoken, articulate, and professional
Target-driven with a positive, resilient attitude
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team

Experience & Qualifications

2–3 years’ work experience (sales or client-facing roles preferred)
Previous experience in financial services (advantageous)
Minimum requirement - Matric
