Private Chef (CEO & Family)

SUMMARY:
Our well-known client within Harrismith (Freestate), is looking for a Private Chef (CEO & Family).

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
• Diploma or Certificate in professional Cookery, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality Management.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a private chef, executive chef, sous chef or fine dining chef.
• Experience preparing a wide variety of local and international cuisines.
• Must have experience preparing and handling strictly Halaal food in accordance with Halaal dietary requirements and food preparation standards.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Valid RSA driver's license.
• Willingness to travel with the CEO and family.

• Plan, prepare and present strictly Halaa, nutritious, high-quality meals for the CEO and family.
• Ensure that all ingredients, food products, seasonings and preparation methods comply with Halaal dietary requirements.
• Source, purchase and manage fresh, high-quality Halaa-certified ingredients and household food supplies.
• Maintain stock control management and manage the kitchen inventory efficiently.
• Manage food budgets and minimise waste.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the CEO, family, guests and household affairs.
