Presales Engineer

SUMMARY:
Our client is a well-established technology solutions provider that delivers hardware, software, and support services to a diverse range of industries. They are looking for a technically minded Presales Engineer to join their team and provide expert solution design, implementation support, and technical guidance to customers and internal teams.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities
 

• Providing presales technical support to internal sales teams and external business partners.
• Designing and implementing hardware and software solutions.
• Designing and implementing device management software solutions.
• Managing and supporting mobile device management solutions.
• Providing post-sales technical support to internal sales teams, business partners, and end users.
• Compiling user requirement specifications and technical documentation.
• Implementing quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Providing online and remote user support.
• Conducting user training and product demonstrations.
• Troubleshooting software and application-related issues.
• Assisting customers with software upgrades and installations.
• Contributing towards team objectives and business goals.

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in technical repairs, technical support, or a related technical environment.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with application software.
• Knowledge of barcode printing and labelling software.
• Understanding of WLAN technologies and environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.

• Experience within mobility, barcode, wireless networking, or device management solutions.
• Previous customer-facing technical support or implementation experience.
