Ensure the availability of preforms, timeously loading preforms, and ensure a clean area.
Key Accountabilities and Outputs
Operating of Processes
Load the right preforms timeously
Check the cages and inspect preforms before and after loading
Organise next run's preforms timeously with the Team Leader, Forklift Driver, and Stock Controller
Drain preforms at colour change
Return drained cages to stock with the Stock Controller, to the dedicated area
Make available white and green bags for rejected preforms at the blowers
Make sure no preforms are mixed
Remove full rejected cages
Change rejection cages at colour change
Record all cages used per run on traceability forms
Help decant rejected bottles at fillers
Help clear away preforms and bottles during flavour change
Keep the day store preform hopper area and the area around the blower clean; the preform feed unit is the loader's responsibility
Clean hopper sensors on a regular basis, at the start of the shift and in the middle of the shift
Run the block during the block operator's lunch
Help with maintenance of the preform hopper, preform conveyors, blower, filler, and mixer as instructed by the Maintenance Manager on Maintenance Day
Receive your work area in a clean, running condition
Hand your work area over in a clean, running condition
Report any faults or problems as soon as possible
No lunch during flavour change
Documentation as per QMS
Waste management
Inspect and clean the hopper, sensors and feeding conveyors.
Remove minor obstructions only in accordance with the safe operating procedure.
Report damage, recurring blockages and abnormal equipment operation.
