What You’ll Do:

• Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models primarily focused on credit risk, customer segmentation, or fraud detection.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust analytical solutions.
• Conduct data exploration, feature engineering, and model tuning to optimize performance.
• Perform rigorous model validation using industry-standard metrics such as AUC, Gini, KS, and lift charts.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and communicate model insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support the implementation of models in production environments, ensuring stability and scalability.

• At least 2 years of experience in predictive modelling within financial services, insurance, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting machines, or other machine learning techniques.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages and tools including:
  
  • Python (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy) or R for model development;
  • SQL for data extraction and manipulation; and
  • SAS knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with model validation techniques and statistical concepts.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing feature engineering.
• Ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear business recommendations.
• Strong communication skills, with experience presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and credit risk frameworks will be advantageous.
