SUMMARY:
My client, one of the leading tools companies is looking for a Power Tool Repairs Coordinator to oversee their team of Repair Technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and mentoring staff, creating work schedules, ordering spare parts, providing technical assistance, and troubleshooting system issues.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
Self-starter with problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
Leadership.
Customer and after-care service orientated.
In depth knowledge of warrantees/repairs and returns and the various processes.

Qualifications:

Matric / Grade 12.
3 Years Supervisory/ Management experience in power tool industry.
Power tool and accessories repair knowledge essential.
Internal Sales & Warehouse processes.
Good computer and report writing knowledge (Excel, K8).

Duties include but not limited to:

Designing and implementing work schedules for the staff and providing motivation and assistance when necessary.
Inspecting and assessing the work done by the team.
Ensuring the correct internal procedures are followed.
Implementing and/or improving existing processes to work more effectively in collaboration with other supporting departments.
Assisting with troubleshooting and equipment malfunctions.
Stock taking and ordering of spare parts.
Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
Consulting with sales reps/clients and end-users.
Dealing with clients (face-to-face, via emails and telephonically).

Salary: R15 000 – R18 000 per month
