- Sugar industry experience within Power Generation
- reliability, preventive & predictive maintenance.
- maintenance and operating boiler equipment
- maintenance and operating turbines
- conversant with planned maintenance
- leadership to the Maintenance Workshop to ensure plant
- maintenance of mechanical equipment
- Proactively investigates recurring breakdowns or equipment failures and rectify faults timeously,.
- plant is maintained adequately by making use of condition-based monitoring system.
- Monitors the condition of the Bearing Cooling Water (BCW) system
