POWER COUPLE - Field Guide & Spa Therapist
KRUGER NATIONAL PARK - PHALABORWA, Limpopo (ZA)
START: ASAP / 01 November 2025
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS
- Monday - Sunday
- Shifts
- 6 days on / 2 days off
- Flexible regarding overtime on occasion based on hotel bookings
- OPEN all major public holidays
- 21 days paid leave per annum
REPORT TO: Hotel GM / Owner
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS
- R16,000 - R20,000 Salary per month combined
- Commission (Product & Services rendered) - Spa Therapist only
- Semi-furnished accommodation with private en-suite bathroom (KingSize Bed, Linen & Towels, TV, Aircon, Mirror & Dresser, Fridge, microwave, cupboard)
- R3,600 monthly meal allowance from our restaurant (breakfast/lunch or dinner)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - SPA THERAPIST/ SPA MANAGER ON DUTY:
- South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA
- CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / City & Guilds or similar recognized accreditation
- Spa Manager or Assistant Spa Manager experience in Lodge, Hotel or Cruise Ship Spa environment
- Fit and healthy to perform therapies back to back
- Beautifully groomed and looking the part of a 5-star therapist
- Confident retailer
- Computer literate - able to do oversee bookings, client communication (e-mail/whatsapp etc) / reporting and any other basic admin duties assigned
- We prefer our employee to have their own transport
- Ability to build rapport with our staff, international guests and local clientele
- Confident leader, you will manage a small team of spa professionals
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - FIELD GUIDE:
- South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA
- Field Guide SA certified
- Valid Driver license - CODE B minimum
- PDP License
- First Aid certified
- In-depth knowledge of fauna & flora of Kruger National Park
- Excellent guest relationship building
- Strong host skills
- Fit to perform your duties
- Support conservation and respect the rules and regulations of KNP
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience within a Hotel, Lodge, Cruise Ship or Resort
- Prior employment in a bush, lodge or safari environment
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
- Ability to work in luxury environment with high-end clients from around the world
