Our client a Financial Services provider (Insurance Company) based in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a Portfolio Administrator – Employee Benefits – Group Risk. Will work remotely from home, must be able to work from home – own internet setup -uncapped data with at least 10 Mbps speed

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client a Financial Services provider (Insurance Company) based in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a Portfolio Administrator – Employee Benefits – Group Risk. Will work remotely from home, must be able to work from home – own internet setup -uncapped data with at least 10 Mbps speed

  • Responsible for the reconciliation of the monthly membership data vs. premiums due and received. 
  • Responsible for the submission of all risk benefit claims received and monitoring the process until claims are paid

  • Internal and External Stakeholder relationships  Prepare and provide premium recons to clients monthly
  • Perform credit control checks and  underpayments
  • Follow PPR15 processes
  • Action all claims timeously
  • Maintain updated claims workflow systems
  • Process medical requests in terms of guidelines
  • Control Medical Free Cover Limit on each scheme
  • Maintain medicals on workflow system
  • Manage benefit statements, conversion options, monthly billings etc.
  • Process renewals required for annual renewals

Relevant business qualification advantages
3 years of relevant working experience in similar not negotiable
