Our client a Financial Services provider (Insurance Company) based in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a Portfolio Administrator – Employee Benefits – Group Risk. Will work remotely from home, must be able to work from home – own internet setup -uncapped data with at least 10 Mbps speed

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client a Financial Services provider (Insurance Company) based in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a Portfolio Administrator – Employee Benefits – Group Risk. Will work remotely from home, must be able to work from home – own internet setup -uncapped data with at least 10 Mbps speed

Responsible for the reconciliation of the monthly membership data vs. premiums due and received.
Responsible for the submission of all risk benefit claims received and monitoring the process until claims are paid

Internal and External Stakeholder relationships Prepare and provide premium recons to clients monthly
Perform credit control checks and underpayments
Follow PPR15 processes
Action all claims timeously
Maintain updated claims workflow systems
Process medical requests in terms of guidelines
Control Medical Free Cover Limit on each scheme
Maintain medicals on workflow system
Manage benefit statements, conversion options, monthly billings etc.
Process renewals required for annual renewals

Relevant business qualification advantages
3 years of relevant working experience in similar not negotiable
