Our client, an industry leader in insurance, is currently recruiting for an Accountant. The role will report directly to the Finance Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client based in the North of Johannesburg is currently recruiting for an Accountant from the insurance industry. The role offers great potential for personal and career development

The duties of this role include processing income tax per client onto the general ledger; preparing balance sheet reconciliations per client; paying administrators and other creditors associated with the client portfolio; and processing underwriting results per client onto the general ledger (including premium, reinsurance premium, claims, recoveries, commissions and fees).

Education:

BCom Accounting
Insurance experience (not negotiable)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Strong Excel skills
3 – 5 years similar experience
