We are seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Mould Setter for a 3-month temporary contract position with our client.

Employment Type: Temporary (3-Month Contract, with potential to become permanent based on performance and operational needs)

Shift Pattern: Night Shift | Monday to Thursday (10-hour shifts)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Mould Setter for a 3-month temporary contract position with our client. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting plastic injection moulding machines to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine & Mould Setup: Install, set up, change, and remove moulds on plastic injection moulding machines. Connect and disconnect all required water, air, and hydraulic lines.
• Parameter Adjustment: Set and optimize machine temperatures, pressures, cycle times, and parameters according to job cards, product specifications, and production instructions.
• Material Management: Load raw materials into hoppers, ensuring correct materials and color blends are used throughout production runs.
• Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting: Inspect finished products for defects, perform basic troubleshooting, and make necessary machine adjustments to minimize scrap, rejects, and downtime.
• Maintenance & Safety: Perform minor maintenance, maintain safe and clean work environments, adhere to all health and safety protocols (including wearing PPE), and report equipment faults promptly.
• Documentation: Complete accurate production and quality control documentation as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven hands-on experience as a Plastic Injection Mould Setter.
• Equipment Knowledge: Direct hands-on experience working with TMC and Borche injection moulding machines.
• Technical Aptitude: Strong basic knowledge of plastic materials, moulding processes, tool setups, and defect correction.
• Operational Fit: Comfortable working 10-hour night shifts from Monday to Thursday and accepting of the initial 3-month contract structure at the specified rate.
