SUMMARY:
Seeking the skills of a pipe fitter.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with completed apprenticeship or vocational training.
• Technical Knowledge: Expertise in various piping materials (stainless steel, copper, PVC) and pressure systems.
• Welding Proficiency: Strong welding and torch-cutting skills.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and operate in tight spaces.
• Certifications: Valid pipefitting certification or trade license.

• Blueprint Analysis: Reading and interpreting blueprints, isometrics, and schematics to plan pipe layouts.
• Fabrication & Installation: Cutting, threading, bending, and assembling pipes using tools such as saws, grinders, and welders.
• Joining Methods: Welding (TIG/ARC), brazing, soldering, or using mechanical connectors and flanges.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all systems comply with safety codes (e.g., OSHA) and industry standards.
• Testing: Carrying out pressure tests, leak detection, and hydro/nitrogen tests to ensure system integrity.
• Maintenance: Repairing and maintaining existing pipes, hangers, and hydraulic components.
