Warehouse Picker / Packer - Johannesburg North

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-established medical and health care company is looking to employ a an effective picker / packer

The purpose of the Picker /Packer position is to accurately fill customer order and packed products in a manner that meets GWP/GMP standards as well as company standards for safety, security, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

To facilitate an efficient warehouse, a Picker / Packer performs many different task
Picker efficiently pick customer order as per Pick Slip for Shipment
Picker are responsible to ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders by picking the accurate products, correct quantity, and batch numbers
Picker / Packer need to adhere to FEFO/FIFO principals
Picker are responsible for recording the picking process by signing the pick slip
To ensure the correct labels are put on to the product correctly
Accept and be accountable for goods Picked / Packed
Comply with Company rules and regulations at all time
Maintain high level of housekeeping conductive to a proper shrinkage management
Assist with all clerical functions within the warehouse should the need arise
The Picker / Packer maintains warehouse inventory by replenishing stock on to the shelfs as per standard operations procedures
Packer to arranges boxes onto the bulk shelfs in a way that will not de damages
The Picker / Packer needs to assist management in conducting rotational stock take and bi-annually stock take and cycle counts
Packer need to pack medical products as per standard operations procedure
- Stability of the product
- Safety of the products
- Safety, Sanitation and Security
- Picker / Packer need to advise management of any shortfall on an customer and Pack away sheet

Salary: R5 000 CTC
