Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Picker/Packer to join our operation in JHB -Crown Mine - Southern Suburbs on a contractor basis. As a vital part of the team, you will be responsible for accurately picking, checking, packing, and preparing customer orders, ensuring high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick products according to customer orders and system instructions
- Check product details and expiry dates meticulously
- Securely pack products to prevent damage during transportation
- Label and prepare completed orders for dispatch
- Conduct quality checks on orders
- Assist in loading and offloading stock
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow stock rotation procedures and assist with inventory checks
- Operate warehouse equipment safely
- Adhere to health, safety, and security protocols
- Achieve daily picking and packing targets
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements
- Must have Matric /Grade 12
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or retail preferred
- Good communication
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Clean criminal record
- Rate: R30.23 per Hour
