Photographer (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)

SUMMARY:
To provide professional photography services for the company by planning, capturing, editing, managing and archiving high-quality photographic content that accurately documents legislative proceedings, stakeholder engagements, official events and institutional activities.

POSITION INFO:
JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Plan and prepare photo shoots in line with the planned event.
• Operate and maintain cameras, lenses, lighting equipment and other photographic tolls.
• Edit and retouch images using photo edit software.
• Organize, archive and manage digital image files.

• Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5) in Photography, Visual Arts, Digital Media, Multimedia, Film Production or a related field.
• Valid driver's license will be an added advantage.

• Six months’ practical photography experience demonstrated through a portfolio, internship, workplace learning programme, volunteer work or freelance assignments.

• Financial Regulations Proven experience as a photographer with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in photo editing software and digital photography techniques
• Good understanding and/or knowledge of legislative practices
• Knowledge of lighting, composition and camera settings.
• Creativity and artistic ability. Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with photograph equipment and software.
• Problem solving and adaptability skills.
