Pharmacy Manager

SUMMARY:
A private hospital group with the aim of putting high quality healthcare within everybody's reach is looking for a Pharmacy Manager to join their team at their hospital based in Malmesbury, Western Cape.

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring that medication dispensing, inventory management, and pharmaceutical care are conducted efficiently and in compliance with regulations. This role is critical in leading the pharmacy team, managing budgets, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care.

POSITION INFO:
The Pharmacy Manager ensures the pharmacy’s operations align with the hospital’s strategic goals and regulatory requirements.

Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm)
- Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pharmacist, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Experience in Oncology drugs will be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations and medication safety
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in using Health Management Information Systems (HMIS)
