SUMMARY:
An innovative eco-friendly pest management Company is looking to hire a Pest Operations Manager to build
their branch in Port Elizabeth.
The Company has provided integrated pest management solutions to a number of industries in Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Gauteng, Western Cape and is now looking to expand into the
Eastern Cape.
Since our mission is to reduce the chemical footprint of the pest control industry, we are looking for a like-minded individual who cares about the environment and is prepared to learn new pest management solutions in line with our eco-conscious solutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities
In this role, the individual will be responsible for developing and implementing all tasks to grow and develop our new branch.
He/ she will need to effectively manage all tasks to expand our footprint in the Western Cape region and as the branch grows, to develop and manage the team who will carry out the Company’s objectives.
As such, the individual that we are looking for needs to have sales and managerial experience.
1. Sales Activities (managing the entire sales pipeline from cold calling to deal closure).

Qualify prospective clients,
Conduct site surveys at prospective clients,
Write quality reports and proposals for prospective clients,
Present the above to prospective clients, and
Ensure customer satisfaction.

2. Pest Management Activities

Carry out integrated pest management solutions tailored to each client’s needs. This involves:
Inspecting buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestation,
Determining the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests,
Carrying out treatments in a timely and effective manner,
Designing pest management plans,
Driving vehicles with equipment, maintaining vehicle inventory and managing supplies as needed.
Record applicable pest data and write up monthly client reports, and
Demonstrate excellent communication skills with clients.

3. Management Activities

Training and managing new employees,
General branch administration,
General financial administration, including budgeting and monthly report at Board Level, and
General human resources management.

Minimum Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Pest Control Operator/ Officer with a managerial role.
2. Proven successful sales track record – i.e. winning new contracts.
3. Proven financial awareness of business plans and financial models.
4. Registered and valid P Number in Structural Pest Management and one other Pest Management Field,
5. Driver’s License with good driving experience.
6. Advanced IT skills (particularly in Microsoft Office).
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills (being professional at all times when interacting with
customers).
8. Physical stamina (being able to spend long hours on your feet, often crouching, kneeling and crawling).

Copy of Drivers license
Copy of P Number.
