Pest Control Officer

SUMMARY:
A well-established facilities services business providing professional hygiene and pest control solutions is seeking a qualified and experienced Pest Control Officer to join its Upington operation.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional pest control services to clients, ensuring that all treatments are completed according to service requirements, company procedures and health and safety standards.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver quality and timely pest control services at client sites.
• Complete treatment reports and maintain required service documentation.
• Identify and report pest control, proofing and housekeeping concerns.
• Maintain pest control equipment and the assigned company vehicle.
• Comply with all health and safety requirements.
• Build and maintain professional client relationships.
• Assist with the supervision and training of PCO Assistants and Interns

• Grade 11/12 and/or a 3-Day Structural Pest Control Skills Course through PCITA.
• Valid and active P Number Certificate from the Department of Agriculture.
• Structural pest control training: Advantageous/Required as applicable
• Minimum 1 year of pest control experience.
• Good driving skills.
• Good command of English and strong communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to meet the requirements of the position.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and detail-oriented.
• Team player with a willingness to learn.
