Pest Control Officer - KZN

POSITION INFO:

Meondo Holdings is looking for a Pest Control Officer whom has a P Number to carry out the below :
Key Responsibilities:

Pest Inspection and Identification:

Examining buildings and surrounding areas for signs of pests like insects, rodents, and other unwanted creatures.
Pest Control Treatment:

Applying pesticides, setting traps, and using other methods to eliminate pests, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Cleaning and Maintenance:

Maintaining cleanliness standards in the designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
Record Keeping:

Maintaining detailed records of inspections, treatments, and client interactions.
Equipment Maintenance:

Ensuring that pest control equipment and cleaning supplies are in good working order and properly maintained.
Compliance and Safety:

Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Emergency Response:

Responding to pest control emergencies and addressing urgent situations promptly.

Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of Pest Control Methods:

Understanding various pest control techniques, including identification, treatment, and prevention.
Cleaning and Maintenance Skills:

Ability to perform basic cleaning tasks and maintain cleanliness standards.
Communication Skills:

Effectively communicating with clients and providing clear explanations of services and preventative measures.
Attention to Detail:

Identifying pest infestations and ensuring thorough cleaning practices.

HOURS OF WORK
Monday - Friday
07.00 - 17.00

Alternate Weekends /Public Holidays
07.00 - 12.00
