Personal Assistant

SUMMARY:
Umhlanga - A leading and well-established Financial Brokerage seeks a Professional Personal Assistant to join their team in support to the General Manager.

POSITION INFO:

They are seeking a Personal Assistant to support their General Manager. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy multitasking, and have excellent interpersonal skills, this role is for you! 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage the General Manager’s calendar, schedule meetings, and handle correspondence. 
• Prepare excel reports, and various other documents with precision. 
• Ensure accuracy in all tasks, from data entry to proofreading. 
• Liaise with external insurance companies, demonstrating professionalism and empathy. 
• Handle sensitive information with discretion. 
• Perform general Reception duties at times, take messages for General Manager  
• Maintain good relationships with clients.  
• Request Quotations from various Insurance companies.   
• Tasks need to be completed with neatness and pride.  
• Excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written (Advanced level of professionalism)  
• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment. 
• Able to work well under pressure.  
• Self-efficient 
• Strong telephonic skills  

• Minimum Matric with tertiary education highly advantageous
• Driver's License and own vehicle
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role.
• Previous experience the insurance field highly advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Package
