Personal Assistant & Marketing Support

SUMMARY:
Our client, a trusted name in the electrical transformers industry, is looking for a dynamic and dependable Personal Assistant who can also support basic marketing and social media tasks. This role blends administration, client communication, and creative support, ideal for someone who’s organised, and enjoys variety in their day.
 
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support

• General office administration and filing
• Preparing and sending quotes and invoices using Sage accounting software
• Answering and directing telephone calls professionally
• Assisting with school drop-off and pick-up for the manager’s son (using the company vehicle)
• Coordinating appointments and basic diary management
• Supporting the owner and team with ad hoc tasks as needed 

• Managing and updating the company’s Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts
• Creating basic visual content using Canva, Illustrator, or similar tools
• Assisting with online promotions, post scheduling, and engagement tracking
• Supporting brand visibility and communication across platforms 

• Valid South African driver’s licence (essential)
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Experience with Sage or similar accounting software
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic design tools
• Trustworthy, punctual, and able to work independently
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous

• Market-related basic salary (R15,000 – R18,000 / month depending on experience)
• Use of company vehicle for work-related driving
• Company cell phone
• Annual performance bonus in December
• Salary review after 6 months based on performance
