SUMMARY:
Job Title: Payroll Officer
Location:  Limpopo near Thabazimbi and Northam
Remuneration:  Market-related salary based on experience and qualifications

We are looking for your work experience in Payroll and HR Administration in a manufacturing environment.
 
Payroll Officer whose primary role will be to oversee and manage the full payroll function. We are looking for your work experience with Psiber Systems in managing remuneration and benefits and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
 
Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Soft Skills

• Matric with a completed qualification in HR, Payroll, or Accounting
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of full payroll function work experience
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience on Psiber Systems
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation, payroll compliance, payroll legislation, and statutory reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving ability
• High level of professionalism and integrity

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Capture monthly payroll accurately and within deadlines
• Maintain payroll records, including employee information, earnings, and deductions
• Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies
• Manage leave records and ensure correct processing in payroll
• Maintain and update employee records
• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
• Manage employee benefits administration (medical aid, pension/provident fund, etc.)
• Ensure confidentiality of all employee information
