SUMMARY:
Urgent role: Payroll Administrator required!

POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator with strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of payroll systems and compliance to join our client's team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements:

Local citizens
Diploma in Payroll Administration or similar discipline
3–5 years' experience in a payroll administration role
Proven track record in handling payroll for an organisation
Proficiency in payroll software (VIP Sage 300 People essential)
Syspro knowledge is advantageous
Related payroll training and development

Key Responsibilities:

Full payroll processing (weekly & monthly) using VIP Sage 300 People
Capture new employees, process terminations, leave, claims, promotions, and transfers
Ensure payroll data accuracy and perform necessary adjustments
Administer and maintain the Coin clock card system
Capture shifts for Leave Enhancement Pay calculations
Maintain data integrity and compliance with labour laws, tax regulations, and bargaining council agreements
Manage UIF applications, submissions, and related processes
Liaise with SARS, Workman’s Compensation, UIF for registrations, payments, and reconciliations
Maintain accurate employee payroll records and supporting documentation
Administer pension/provident fund withdrawals and related paperwork
Ensure all payroll expenses and liabilities are accurately allocated to relevant accounts
