SUMMARY:
A large organization located in Durban providing services for the various industries throughout Africa seeks an experienced Payroll Administrator to administer the Company’s payroll function and generate accurate and timely monthly payrolls.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Almost immediate start

Duties include:

Working with Operations to improve payroll processes.
Reconcile and maintain payroll-related accounts.
Maintain the integrity of personnel data across the Group.
Provide quality, focused analysis and reporting of payroll-related statistics and financial information for use in business decisions and budgeting.
Leave payment administration
SARS and Tax Authority Compliance
Payroll Reporting
Expatriate Remuneration Management
3rd party payment Recons
Payroll Accounting and Financial Administration

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification
5 years’ experience as a payroll administrator in an organization with more than 1000 employees, preferably including international (sub-Saharan African) payrolls
High Proficiency in VIP is required
Accounting principles, practices and general ledger structures
Compensation and statutory deduction legislation, regulations and company policy encompassing South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia and DRC operations
Payroll practices and systems
Business processes
