A well-established agricultural operation in Letsitele is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage and process a large payroll of 200–400 employees. The successful candidate must have proven experience using Sage VIP and working with time and attendance systems, particularly FarmTrace.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 any additional financial qualification will be an advantage
• Minimum 3–5 years payroll experience within a large operation (200+ staff)
• Proficient in Sage VIP Payroll
• Experience working with FarmTrace or similar time & attendance systems
• Strong Excel and data reconciliation skills
• Knowledge of South African labour and tax laws
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Own transport and valid Driver's License
• Experience with the following:
  
  • Full payroll processing for 200–400 employees on Sage VIP
  • Importing and reconciling time and attendance data from FarmTrace
  • Ensuring payroll compliance with statutory requirements (UIF, PAYE, SDL)
  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality
  • Manage leave, overtime, bonuses, and other payroll components
  • Coordinate with HR for new hires, terminations, and employee changes
  • Prepare monthly payroll reports and reconciliations
  • Submit EMP201 and EMP501 reports timeously
  • Respond to employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies
  • Support audits and provide payroll-related documentation as needed
