Our client in the motor industry seeks to employ a Payroll Administrator to be based at their operations near Kempton Park, Gauteng.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Responsible for the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll for approx. +-350 employees on the VIP Payroll System (this includes the entire cycle of payroll processing from capturing of new employees, leave, terminations).
Review and ensure accuracy of approved advances, and overtime claims on ESS system.
Responsible for the coordination between payroll and human resources, to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
Handle the administration of the ERS system.
Maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorisation.
Generating reports for payments eg. PAYE returns and other 3rd parties.
Maintain a proper document control system.
Keep abreast with company policies and tax legislations that impact on remuneration.
Prepare month-end journals and reporting integration to the financial system (including preparation/distribution of detailed reports eg. expense claims, overtime, leave balances, head count, and month-end reports).
Communicate payroll changes to the HR Manager and on time.

Requirements:

Matric
Payroll qualification advantageous
5+ years' experience as Payroll Officer/Administrator
MUST have VIP Premier system experience, ESS, ERS, ODBC
Strong working knowledge of MIBCO
Code 8 licence
