JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our valued client a well respected engineering company is seeking a payroll administrator with a minimum of 5 years experience and working knowledge of Sage, ProMan and Microsoft Office, to join their team in Sandton.

Responsibilities:

Processing data into Sage 300 People, receiving Letter of Appointment and creating new employee, staff resignations, allowances, travel and subsistence claims, other reimbursive claims
Verify information and create links to ensure that all statutory requirements are adhered to
Process monthly changes when required and ensure that funds are released in a timely and accurate manner completely and accurately
Process monthly statutory payments
Mid-year tax submissions and tax year end submissions IRP5, EMP201, EMP501 etc
General understanding of labour legislation
Report generation and variance analysis
Maintain pension fund, medical aid and other month end schedules
Journalize payroll entries and reconcile clearing payroll accounts
Verify refund batch generated through timesheets from ProMan

Requirements:

Matric (minimum) plus relevant qualification
Working knowledge of ProMan, Microsoft Office and Sage - 300 people
Minimum of 5 years experience in Payroll administration.
