Payroll Administrator

Our client based in Kempton Park is looking to employ a Payroll Administrator.

Salary: R15 000 - R18 000 per month.

Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent.
• Must reside in Gauteng.
• Relevant Degree or Diploma and/or Certificate in basic accounting/payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of SAGE 300 (People) is non-negotiable.
• Excellent MS Excel skills is required.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting or bookkeeping will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and understanding of SAP system will be advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Attention to detail and excellent numeric skills.
• Highly organized, systematic and deadline driven.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing all admin relevant to payroll (incl. Commissions).
• Ensuring all employees deductions are correctly recorded and the relevant deductions made.
• Calculate and pay over third-party payments timeously and accurately. PAYE, SDL, UIF, Prov, Med Aid etc.
• Process employee terminations.
• Inputting and updating annual salary budgets (incl. bonuses).
• Process Provident fund, Med Aid, Garnishes etc.
• Loading and updating employee information on SAGE.
• SAGE Leave module – reports and checking on monthly basis.
• Update payroll module on SAP.
• Perform bookkeeping functions as and when required.
• Any other ad hoc payroll related duties when required.
