SUMMARY:
Wages and Salaries

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Weekly wages processing -includes the processing of terminations, salary advances, leave, bonus payouts,

allowances, travel allowances, garnishee orders

  • Capture changes in bank details and personal information
  • Capture new and terminated employees
  • Complete Wage corrections
  • Check imported batches between Eco time and SAGE VIP
  • Process salary advance applications
  • Payaccsys ACB file and ACB List sent to Finance for payment of wages
  • Print and handout payslips
  • Prepare for backup and roll over to a new period
  • Check payroll summary
  • Assist walk-in employees with wages queries

Monthly salary processing – includes the processing terminations, loans, private purchases, leave, bonus payouts,

  • allowances, travel allowances, garnishee
  • Prepare various calculations
  • Ensure overtime is approved
  • Process salary advance applications
  • Process sick notes and leave applications
  • Filing
  • Third-party processing and payments i.e. UIF, MIBFA, NUMSA, UASA, Garnishee orders
  • Print EMP 201’S for submission to SARS
  • Prepare HR Reports and reconciliations
  • Payaccsys ACB file and ACB List sent to Finance for payment of salaries
  • Assist salary staff with salary queries

 

Qualifications and experience:

 

  • Grade 12
  • Payroll qualification
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience
  • MIBFA / MEIBC Experience
  • Working knowledge of Eco time would prove advantages
  • Working knowledge of SAGE Payroll Software & System
  • Understanding and good working knowledge of The Main Agreement
