SUMMARY:
We are looking for a competent, successful Payroll Administrator to join our Team.

Purpose of the Role:
Preparation and reporting of payroll data for use throughout the Organisation in order for the Team to make informed business decisions

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB ROLE:
  • Management and Maintenance of the Employee Self Services System
  • Working with Human Resources on the maintenance of files for all employee related records
  • Ensure each employee who has been allocated an asset has signed an asset sign In-Out form and the form is filed in their personal file
  • Participate in budgeting process for staff costs
  • Perform budget variance analysis monthly
  • Perform trend analysis of staff costs
  • Accurately calculate net payment and submit the earnings schedule to treasury for payment and ensure payments are done in time
  • SARS schedules, returns such as EMP201 & EMP501 and submitting PAYE, UIF & SDL to treasury for payment and ensuring payments are done in time
  • Monthly, Annual & Bi-annual PAYE reconciliations to SARS
  • Workmen’s compensation reconciliations, returns submissions and payments
  • Advise on leave entries, leave balances and ensure the same is captured in financial records
  • Administration of full payroll (permanent staff and candidates)
  • Accurately capture all payroll related earnings and deductions
  • Payroll reconciliations
  • Updating all employee records with SARS
  • Liase with SARS on all payroll related issues
  • IRP5 preparation and submission to SARS and staff
  • Ensuring all personal information that impact earnings and deductions are in the personal files and duly signed by the employee and CEO before they are factored onto the individual payroll
  • Ensure that all data is correctly stored
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Matric (Grade 12) / GCE A Level
  • Financial/Management Degree or equivalent
  • Post-Graduation /Professional Qualification an added Advantage
  • Drivers license
  • Own transport
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working on various payrolls
  • Proven track record
  • Knowledge and understanding of all related legislation and processes
