Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage both monthly and weekly payroll functions for over 300 employees. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining payroll accuracy, administering the time and attendance system, and providing exceptional support to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and validate the clocking system to ensure time and attendance accuracy.
Capture and verify overtime, leave, and payroll data prior to submission.
Handle employee payroll queries professionally and confidentially.
Maintain up-to-date employee records and payroll documentation.
Manage onboarding and terminations, including UIF, provident fund, and final pay processing.
Collaborate with finance on monthly reconciliations, payovers, and variance reporting.
Support HR with various administrative and policy-related tasks as needed.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Qualification: National Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field (advantageous).
Experience: Minimum 5 years in payroll administration, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Systems: Experience with PRP clocking system and VIP Payroll advantageous.
Skills: Excellent organisational, communication, and analytical abilities.
Attributes: Accurate, methodical, ethical, and able to perform under pressure.
