Payroll / Accounts Administrator – Goodwood

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Matric required
• Qualification in payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or HR qualification advantageous
• 1-2 years of Bookkeeping / Payroll or Finance-related experience
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Proficiency in a payroll and ERP software
• Good numerical and administrative skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality

• Assist with daily bookkeeping and financial record-keeping
• Capture and process invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses
• Perform bank and supplier reconciliations
• Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and general ledger entries
• Prepare and maintain supporting financial documentation
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments
• Provide administrative support to the finance/accounting team
• Assist with preparation and processing of monthly payroll
• Capture and maintain employee payroll information, timesheets, leave, overtime, bonuses, deductions, etc.
• Assist with new employee registrations and employee terminations
• Assist with payroll reconciliations / payroll reports and maintain accuracy and confidentiality
• Respond to employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and submit EMP201 monthly employer declarations to SARS, ensuring accurate PAYE, UIF, and SDL calculations and timely submission
• Assist with statutory payroll submissions and payments, where applicable
