PASTRY CHEF DE PARTIE

Salary: R17 000 per month

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join a luxury hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing exceptional pastry creations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain health, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Control quality, quantity, and cost of all pastry items.
Manage stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements to the Sous Chef.
Ensure correct storage and handling of food in line with HACCP standards.
Prepare fresh mise-en-place daily and ensure timely service.
Maintain excellent presentation and portion control standards.
Assist in optimizing kitchen efficiency while maintaining quality.
Promote teamwork and a positive working environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 and Chef Certificate/Diploma.
1–2 years' previous experience in a similar role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Professional approach with colleagues and distinguished clientele.
Friendly, reliable, punctual, and adaptable.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
