Salary: R30,000 : Negotiable / Market-related, depending on experience

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of pastry, baking and dessert techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Strong hygiene and food-safety standards
• Creative, hardworking and team-oriented
• Culinary qualification will be an advantage
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, cakes, desserts and baked goods
• Maintain consistent quality, taste and presentation
• Manage daily pastry production
• Maintain cleanliness and food-safety standards
• Assist with menu development and new product creation
• Monitor stock and minimise wastage
• Own transport and license
• Ability to work under extreme pressure
