Set within a beautifully restored heritage property in the Southern Suburbs, our boutique hotel offers guests an elegant and intimate experience defined by exceptional service, warm hospitality, and exquisite cuisine.
We’re seeking a creative and skilled Pastry Chef to lead the dessert and pastry program across all outlets, crafting beautiful, seasonal creations that showcase both technique and imagination.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, plate, and present desserts and pastries to the highest standard.
- Manage pastry kitchen operations, production schedules, and stock control.
- Develop new, seasonal offerings aligned with the property’s culinary identity.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene, organisation, and consistency across all pastry sections.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to deliver excellence across all dining outlets.
Requirements
- Recognised pastry qualification or equivalent professional certification.
- 3–5 years’ experience in fine dining or boutique hotel environments.
- Strong creativity, technical skill, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Passion for innovation, flavour balance, and visual presentation.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative kitchen culture.
