Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for crafting exquisite pastry dishes for both a la carte and banqueting services in a hotel setting. This role requires a passion for culinary excellence, innovation, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will lead the pastry team, maintain high standards of quality and presentation, and ensure consistency in all pastry offerings.
Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute innovative dessert and pastry menus.
• Specialize in chocolate, sugar work, and advanced pastry techniques.
• Lead, train, and mentor the pastry team to ensure professional growth and performance.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry products.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team for menu planning and special events.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

POSITION INFO:
Job Specifications / Requirements:

• Formal pastry or culinary qualification.
• 3–5 years of professional pastry experience, preferably in a hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent creativity and innovation in pastry design and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Passion for culinary excellence and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
