Parts Sales Representative

POSITION INFO:

A VW Dealership in KZN is looking for a Parts Sales Rep.

His responsible for nurturing and growing the company’s relationships with panel beaters, independent workshops and other Parts wholesale channels. The position requires daily travel, face to face meetings with customers and regular communication by email and telephone. The potential candidate will be self-motivated, outgoing, and driven to perform. A resilient, positive attitude is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Daily visits to our Parts customers
• Determining available repair work
• Obtaining orders
• Building and constantly maintaining customer relationships
• Following up on outstanding orders and making sure that our service levels are excellent.

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
• A good matric pass with at least 10 years work experience.
• The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate gumption.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and results orientated.
• Must be a good listener and be humble.
• Responds well to target driven incentives and can deliver under pressure.
• Previous experience as a rep with a proven track record would be advantageous.
• Understanding of motor vehicle mechanical or body repair and/or the vehicle parts business would be advantageous.
• Alternatively, previous experience as a rep in the motor vehicle supply chain would be useful.

SALARY
Basic R9,5k plus performance driven incentives linked to department results and customer acquisition.
Company car, fuel, medical aid and provident fund.
