Our well know motor dealer client based in Johannesburg is looking to employ a Parts Sales executive with either VW or Audi experience.

Job Description

To issue and ensure availability of part to the service department, counter and telesales customers. Ensure operational quality and increase parts sales turnaround time, through the execution of predefined work objectives as per agreed operating standards and procedures.

Specific Role Responsibilities     

1. Capture parts transactions on the Kerridge accounting system and the original equipment manufactory system called ETKA. 2. Ensure fast moving parts order is automated by the system. 3. Ensure stock levels are maintained for availability purposes to be distributed to internal customers. 4. Pick parts accordingly, and issue to technician timeously as per job cards. 5. Provide advice and report on transactional and process activities within set guidelines to provide timely information for decision making. 6. Order parts not kept in stock once authorised by Service advisor. 7. Accurately reconcile transaction records of parts, products and accessories in order to enable verification of the validity of transactions. 8. Adhere to legal compliance to the FICA regulation, POPI Act, Customer Protection Act, Health and Safety requirements. 9. Resolve workshop complaints, ensuring problems are addressed in a timely and accurate manner. 10. Monitor and report on trends and anomalies in respect of parts, products and accessory consumption and make recommendations for improvement. 11. Contribute to a culture of customer service excellence, which builds positive relationships & provides opportunity for feedback & exceptional service

Skills and Personal Attributes     

1. Team work. 2. Meticulous 3. Identifies problems or challenges in a situation and report 4. The ability to identify automotive parts and knowledge of automotive parts and accessories 5. Proficient knowledge about the structure and basic operations of vehicles and components 6. Displays a clear understanding of the process and procedures involved in sales administration. 7. Applies elementary concepts of knowledge / skill to develop activities assigned under supervision 8. Sound knowledge of operating systems Kerridge and ETKA will be an advantage.

Qualifications and Experience   

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Industry Legislation compliance / Knowledge, Valid driver’s License

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Higher Certificate and or /Advance National (Vocational) Certificate with NQF Level 5. 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 Years VW AND AUDI Parts Sales experience.
