Part-Time Restaurant Manager & Events Planner-Riebeek Kasteel

Our client, a well-established Wine and Olive Estate in RIEBEEK-KASTEEL, has this challenging and exciting position available for a part-time Restaurant Manager, who will effectively manage all aspects of their 200-seater restaurant from Fridays to Sundays.

The individual will have the opportunity to create his own business in conjunction with the farm, the remaining of the week by planning and organising events on the premises of the company.

This position is ideal for someone looking to make this role their own and join a small but dynamic team.

Essential skills and experience

• Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification will be to the candidate’s advantage
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry
• Experience in event planning will be beneficial
• Excellent time management skills
• A goal-driven and dynamic personality
• Innovative and creative forward thinking team player with strong interpersonal skills to build good relationships
• Reliable and committed person with strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy
• Driver’s license and own reliable transport

The successful person will receive a market-related remuneration package for managing the Restaurant on weekends. By managing the Events, the income structure will be negotiable separately.
