Paralegal, Stellenbosch (Cape Town)

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a property market Leader in South Africa, are currently looking for a Paralegal, who can start as soon as possible, or immediately at their offices in Stellenbosch.

Minimum requirements:

Grade 12
At least 15 years as a paralegal in a law firm or any other legal environment focusing in Litigation/Debt Collection.
A 3, 4 or 5 year legal qualification will be advantageous

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Activities focused on recoveries from defaulting tenants, including liaising with external attorneys.
Formulating appropriate recovery strategies to optimize recoveries relative to time and costs.
Instructing external attorneys and coordinating all legal matters which require external assistance.
Monitoring progress on matters underway in the courts.
Updating all internal systems.
Regular Reporting on progress and collection matters.
Ensuring targets are reached.
