Junior Accountant

SUMMARY:
A leading secure payments solutions and aggregator, based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, is looking to hire a self-motivated and meticulous Junior Accountant to add to their team. (This is an on-site position, applicants based in Stellenbosch/Western Cape are encouraged to apply.)

POSITION INFO:
The successful applicant will be responsible for all duties related to financial accounting, including the collection, processing, recording, reconciliation and reporting of financial data. Your tasks include maintaining complete and proper records of revenue, expenditure, assets and liabilities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
 
Other duties include, but are not limited to:

• Capturing source data
• Assisting with accounting until trial balance
• Preparing reconciliation of accounting records to the third party statements
• Free invoice generation
• Assisting with debtors, creditors and monthly reports
• All other tasks related to the role

• Completed BCom in Accounting

• Completed SAIPA/CIMA articles beneficial
• Minimum of 2 years in a financial processing role
• Financial/Payments industry experience highly advantageous
• Strong Advanced Excel skills
