Our client in Rustenburg is urgently seeking an experienced Paint Supervisor with strong coatings knowledge and proven experience in industrial paint processes. Candidates with Valterra experience and a Coating/Paint Inspector certification will be highly advantageous. The role requires hands‑on supervision, stock control, inspection sign‑offs, and ensuring all coating work meets required standards using Carboline (Stonecor) and Jotun products.
Minimum Requirements
Paint Supervision Experience — Strong experience in coatings/industrial painting
Coating/Paint Inspector — Preferably certified
Valterra Experience — Highly advantageous
Stock Control — Experience in stock take and ordering paint
Inspection Sign‑off — Able to sign off inspections and ensure compliance
Product Knowledge — Experience with Carboline (Stonecor) and Jotun coatings
Leadership — Ability to supervise and coordinate paint teams
Communication — Strong communication and reporting skills
Key Responsibilities
Supervise Paint Operations — Oversee daily paint and coating activities
Quality Control — Ensure all coatings meet required standards and specifications
Inspection Sign‑off — Complete and sign off inspections accurately
Stock Management — Conduct stock take, manage inventory, and order paint
Team Coordination — Lead and supervise paint staff
Product Application — Ensure correct application of Carboline and Jotun products
Safety Compliance — Maintain safe working practices and adherence to HSE standards
Reporting — Provide updates on progress, stock levels, and inspections
