Experience
Must have at least 2 to 4 years’ supervisory experience in a Packhouse.
Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):
• Supervise all Packhouse functions.
• Act as liaison between Packhouse management and packhouse staff.
• Enforce Staff discipline.
• Assist with training of Staff.
• Communicate working hours & overtime with Staff.
• Assist with running the shift; Start Packhouse 30 minutes prior to shift, stay 30 min after end of shift to complete running machine and pump checklists to ensure all components have been switched off. Sound lunch alarm before and after lunch, start and stop Packhouse.
• Conduct daily routine checks for carton weight, carton bulging, wax applications, juice & brix reports, culling & logistics, fruit rejected to juice.
• In off season – Assist with Packhouse maintenance.
