PRODUCTION LINE FOREMAN (AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced PRODUCTION LINE FOREMAN (AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY) for a well-established company, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal area.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Valid Code 08 driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.

Competent computer skills (MS Office / Email).

Production Degree / National Diploma (i.e. M+3 in Production) an added advantage.

5yrs+ previous management/supervisory working experience.

Staff management experience.

Ensuring that products are manufactured in accordance with production plan.

Identifying and reporting assembly and quality problems.

Assigning tasks to individuals and ensuring the individuals have received training for the task.

Implementing and maintaining corrective and preventative actions as advised.

Ensuring that the finished products are correctly identified.

Ensuring that all relevant process sheets and work instructions are available before starting production of a specific model.

Implementing and maintaining safety and health standards in accordance with the OSHACT System.

Maintaining production records.

Maintaining good housekeeping.

Ensuring that production stations are balanced to ensure a smooth production flow.
