POP up Shop Sales Assistant

SUMMARY:
A leading hospitality brand is seeking two enthusiastic and customer focused Pop Up Hospitality Sales Assistants to represent the brand at a temporary retail activation at Mall of the North in Polokwane.

The successful candidates will have a hospitality background and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. They will be responsible for engaging with customers, promoting the brand, driving sales, and creating a memorable customer experience. This opportunity may be extended to additional mall activations during September and October based on operational requirements.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENT:

* RSA ID and legal residence essential
* Must reside in Polokwane or surrounding areas
* Female candidates required for this position
* Previous experience within the hospitality industry essential (lodges, hotels, resorts, restaurants, or tourism)
* Previous retail or promotional sales experience advantageous
* Well presented with a professional appearance
* Friendly, confident, and customer focused
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Sales driven with the ability to engage confidently with customers
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
* Available to commence in August 2026

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Represent the hospitality brand professionally at all times
* Welcome and engage with customers visiting the pop up store
* Promote the brand, products, and hospitality offerings
* Deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge
* Drive sales and achieve individual and team targets
* Process sales and maintain accurate records where required
* Maintain attractive product displays and merchandising standards
* Assist with stock control and replenishment
* Support promotional campaigns and marketing activities

PACKAGE:

* R35.00 per hour
* 5% Sales Commission
* Temporary position commencing in August 2026
* Opportunity to continue at additional mall activations during September and October

LOCATION: Polokwane, Limpopo
