PLC Programmer (Phoenix Contact)

I am currently working on behalf of a leading client in the industrial automation sector who is seeking a highly skilled PLC Programmer with proven experience in Phoenix Contact control systems. POSITION INFO:
As a PLC Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, testing, and commissioning control systems tailored to customer specifications. Your knowledge of Phoenix Contact platforms will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions on time and to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC control systems, with a focus on Phoenix Contact platforms.
• Interpret technical documentation including electrical schematics, functional descriptions, and customer requirements.
• Participate in system integration, testing, and on-site commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support and system updates as needed post-installation.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC programming and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Phoenix Contact (PLCnext, PC WORX, etc.) is essential.
• Proficient in HMI and SCADA integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for commissioning and support when required.
