PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Inherent requirements:

 • Matric and/or relevant Diploma

 • Proven experience working as a Personal Assistant

• Mathematical acumen

• Computer literate

• Good telephone etiquette

• Ability to work well under pressure

Preferred requirements and skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 • Strong customer service and social skills

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills

• Follow instructions clearly and accurately within a timely fashion

• Proactive and enthusiastic about delivering positive results

Duties and responsibilities:

 • Act as a first point of contact dealing with correspondence and phone calls

• Manage diaries and organize meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the manager/executive

• Book and arrange travel, transport, and accommodation

• Organize events and conferences

• Assist the Directors with adherence to important deadlines and tasks

• Type, compile and prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence

• Manage information databases and filing systems

 • Implement and maintain procedures/administrative systems

• Liaise with staff, suppliers, and clients on behalf of the Directors where required

• Collate and file all expenses

• Compile and manage the asset register

• Assist with other miscellaneous tasks to support management
