PAM 14615 - Freight Controller (Air, Sea & Road) – Durban

Your duties will encompass:

• Able to handle imports and exports (air & sea) shipments.
• Know the Incoterms – thoroughly.
• Know the import & export procedures when handling these files.
• Liaise with overseas offices to make the necessary shipment arrangements.
• Able to arrange necessary documents (Cargo Dues / SI to the shipping lines or co-loaders / EUR1 / Certificate of Origins / Phytosanitary Certificates, SADC).
• Knowledge on perishable/ reefer shipments (document requirements, PPECB inspections).
• Able to do estimates/quotes.
• Able to liaise directly with the shipping lines, transporters, Customs, all other suppliers.
• Effect creditors’ disbursements and process debtor’s invoices.
